## About

DictJet turns an audio or video file into text and subtitle files in your browser. The page decodes the file on your device and sends only short 16 kHz mono WAV slices for recognition, so the original file never leaves you whole. Supported formats include MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC, plus MP4/MOV when the browser can decode the audio track. Output is a readable transcript assembled from 300-second slices, with .srt and .vtt built from the model's word timings. The first 30 minutes of up to three files a day are free with no account.
