Most people know where their financial accounts are. The harder question is whether somebody else would know where to start.
SuccessionKeeper is a UK-built private financial inventory for recording where bank accounts, pensions, investments, insurance policies, property records and important documents are held. It does not connect to banks or financial providers, does not require provider passwords and cannot move money. 
Users can add as much or as little information as they want, nominate the people who should receive the information if needed, and choose how often SuccessionKeeper checks in with them. If they stop responding, a controlled-release process begins. Their primary nominee is asked to try to reach them first, and only if the full process completes without a response is a structured summary released. Nominees never receive access to the SuccessionKeeper account.
The service is protected with AES-256 encryption, UK hosting and two-factor authentication. It costs £4/month or £39/year after a 14-day free trial with no card required. Unlimited accounts and nominees are included, and users can download or delete their data at any time.
